We switched to this vacuum after countless issues with our shopvac. We went through 3 shopvacs before switching. This vacuum is great for what we need. We needed something strong enough to pick up dog nails and fur. Unfortunately, the vacuum gets a ton of use and our team broke the canister. I reached out to customer support to see how to get a replace canister. Noreen was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We received the replacement canister within a week.
I was a little skeptical buying this vaccum. If need something to clean your rugs and floors , this is the product for you. I also use it clean the cat hair off my couches. It does a great job. If you want to use it to clean thick carpet areas, it will vaccum but you will put in a little work.
This vacuum is easy to maneuver and it's well-made. Flexible hose with a metal wand. The dust cup is large and easy to empty. Smart design except, like all modern vacuums, it comes with a ridiculously short crevice tool. However, unlike every other vacuum that I've tried, it does NOT have the usual bulky plastic part at the end of the wand that makes reaching crevices impossible. Crevices can be reached with this vacuum. I would like a motorized head attachment but that would increase the costs and this vacuum is so powerful that it's not really necessary. I liked it so much that I bought one for my mother.
